πιστευετε εἰς τον θεον.
You believe in God.
ὁ Ἰησους ἐδιδασκεν ἐν τῃ σουναγωγῃ και πολλοι ἐπιστιυσαν.
Jesus was teaching in the synagogue and many believed.
παντες πιστευσουσιν εἰς αὐτον.
Everyone will believe in him.
ὁ θεος ἐπεμπεν τους ἀγγελους, ἀλλα νυν ἐσμεν μονοι.
God used to send messengers, but now we are alone.
οἱ ἀδελφοι αὐτου ἐπιστευον εἰς αὐτον.
His brothers were believing in him.
ἐδιδασκεν τον ὀχλον.
She was teaching the crowd.
ἐπιστευσεν ὁ ἀνθρωπος τῳ λογῳ.
The man believed the word.
ὁ θεος ἀκουσει αὐτου.
God will hear him.
οἱ ἁγιοι ἐχουσιν τον νομον.
The holy ones have the law.
λυσομεν το πλοιον.
We will untie the boat.
δια τον λογον ἐπιστευσατε;
Did you believe because of the word?
ἐλεγον περι της βασιλειας.
I was/they were speaking about the kingdom.
πως ἀπολυσεις αὐτην;
How will you divorce her?
οἱ ἀδελφοι οὐκ ἐπιστευσαν.
The brothers did not believe.
ἐλαμβανομεν το πλοιον.
We used to take the boat.
ἐπιστευσαν τῳ θεῳ.
They believed in God.
ὀ αγαθος κυριος απολυσει τους δουλους.
The good master will set free the slaves.
ἐλεγον ἀλλα νυν ἀκουσω.
I used to speak but now I will listen.
ἐβαπτισα ποτε, ἀλλα νυν αὐτος βαπτισει.
Once I baptised, but now he will baptise.
φωνη ἐκ του οὐρανου ἐκηρυξεν· Και ἐδοξασα αὐτο και παλιν δοξασω.
A voice from heaven proclaimed, ‘and I glorified it and will glorify it again’.
και δαιμονια πολλα ἐξεβαλλεν ἐν ἐκαστῳ τοπῳ.
And he was casting out many demons in each place.
ἐκαλεσεν και ἐσωσεν αὐτους, τοτε προσεκυνησαν αὐτῳ.
He called and saved them; then they worshipped him.
ὁ ἁγιος ἀγγελος ἠνοιγεν τους οὐρανους.
The holy angel was opening the heavens.
και καλεσεις το τεκνον Ἰησουν, σωσει τον λαον αὐτου ἁπο των ἁμαρτιων αὐτων.
And you will call the child ‘Jesus’: he will save his people from their sins.
και ἐλαλησαν τον λογον του κυριου τοις πιστοις ἀδελφοις ἐν τῃ οἱκιᾳ αὐτου.
And they spoke the word of the lord to the faithful brothers in his house.
ὁ Ίησους παρελαμβανεν τα τεκνα και τα τεκνα ἠκουσεν του Ἰησου.
Jesus was receiving the children and the children listened to Jesus.
νυν εὐλογησομεν τον κυριον.
Now we will bless the Lord.
ἠδη ἐγραψα αὐτοις, ἀλλα νυν παλιν γραψω.
I have already written (I already wrote) to them, but now I will write again.
ἀπεκαλυψεν την ἀγαπην αὐτου ὁτε ἐγραψεν αὐτῃ.
He revealed his love when he wrote to her.
ὁ Παυλος και ὁ Πετρος ἐγραψαν περι των ἐργων του κυριου.
Paul and Peter wrote about the works of the lord.
ῃτησαν σημεια και ἐκραξαν φωνῃ μεγαλῃ τῳ Ἰησου.
They asked for signs and cried out with a loud voice to Jesus.
οὐκ ἐδιωξαν τους ἀδελφους ἐν τῃ σουναγωγῃ ἐν τῳ σαββατῳ.
They did not persecute the brothers in the synagogue on the Sabbath.
τυφλοι ἀνεβλεψαν, χωλοι περιεπατησαν και κωφοι ἠκουσαν.
The blind saw, the lame walked and the deaf heard.
ὁ Παυλος ποτε ἐδιωκεν την ἐκκλησιαν ἀλλα οὐκετι., ὁ θεος ἐσωσεν αὐτον.
Paul once persecuted the church but no longer; God saved him.
ἐσωζεν τον λαον αὐτου ἀπο του πονηρου.
He saved his people from the evil one.
περιεπατησατε ποτε κατα τον κοσμον και τον πονηρον, ἀλλα νυν προσεχετε τῳ κυριῳ της δοξης και οἰκοδομησετε τους ἀδελφους.
You walked about/lived once according to the world and the evil one, but now you worship the lord of glory and will build up the brothers.
πεμψομεν ἀγγελους ἀρτι προς αὐτους, ἀλλ’ οὐκετι πεισουσιν αὐτους.
We will send angels to them now, but no longer will they convince them.
ὁ Tιμαθεος ἐκηρυξεν παντοτε το εὐαγγελιον ἀλλ’ οὐπω ἐπιστευετε τοις λογοις αὐτου.
Timothy always proclaimed the good news but you have not yet begun to believe his word.
ῳκοδομησαμεν οἰκον παρα της θαλασσας.
We built a house beside the sea.
οἱ πιστοι προσεκυνησαν τον Χριστον, και οἱ πονηροι εδιωκον αὐτους.
The faithful ones worshipped Christ, and the evil ones were persecuting them.
ὑπαρσει το ἱερον μεγα παλιν;
Will the great temple exist again?
ἐκηρυσσεν το εὐαγγελιον και ἐβαπτιζεν τους ἁγιους.
He was preaching the good news and was baptizing the saints.
