Q

Muller-Lyer Illusion

A

> -< and <->
The Mueller-Lyer illusion can be explained using linear perspective as these two shapes create an outline of a building however one goes away whilst the other comes towards the viewer therefore it seems as if the shape on the right is bigger as we perceive it has further away.

Ames Room

A

Ames room is an illusion which shows people to be vastly different in size but in the same room. It shows we keep shape constancy at the expanse of size constancy. It look like a rectangle but is actually a trapezoid. The ceiling is also tilted to make the illusion better.
