An enzyme that is used to stick DNA back together (the glue)

A
Recognises where the DNA needs to be cut and then cuts up the DNA (the scissors)

~ burst nucleus
~ cut up DNA with restriction enzymes
~ DNA chromatography - to separate and cut out gene

~ take mRNA and turn back into DNA - DNA reverse transcriptase
