Differential psychology is the scientific study of differences between or among two or more people.

A metric is a standard of measurement.

A psychometrician is a psychologist trained in measuring characteristics such as mental ability
What is cognitive ability?
Cognitive ability is the nonspecific capacity to reason, learn and solve in any way. It is the most important general mental ability.
What was the g-ocentric model
The g-ocentric model was a tendency used in the past to predict the behavior of workers simply by examining the general mental ability.
What do psychologists use now to predict behavior of workers?
Psychologists now consider individual differences in physical abilities, personality, interests, knowledge and emotion.
What are physical abilities?
Physical abilities are bodily powers such as muscular strength.
What is personality?
Personality is individual behavioral and emotional characteristics.
What are interests?
Interests are preferences or likings.
What is knowledge?
Knowledge are fact about topics.
What is emotion?
Emotion is an effect or feeling displayed in reaction to an event.
