What is Occupancy
Group A?
The use of the space is for purposes such as civic, social, or religious functions, recreation, food or drink consumption.
Gathering for some sort of entertainment or focus group
Group A (Assembly) is defined as 50 occupants or more. Note: Anything less than 50 occ. would be considered group B.

For assembly areas usual with fixed seats for viewing of a performance or motion picture.
Recognizes that the light levels will be low during performances and people may panic under emergency circumstances.
