This is typically a beneficial bowel regimen for constipation
Stool softener + stimulant laxative
When is diarrhea considered severe and should require hospitalization
7 or more stools over baseline

Enterade and L-glutamine are amino acids that may help to control
Diarrhea
How much fluid should you drink for each loose BM?
1 cup (8 oz.) extra
Should you recommend straws for dysphagia?
No unless recommende by SLP
When may a multivitamin/mineral supplement be beneficial?
Fatigue
*often d/t anemia
What is typically used for acute nausea?
Occurs within 24 hours of chemo

What is typically used for delayed nausea (2)?
Occurs 1-7 days after
