Answer 2

1. Determine mass of solute and volume of solvent needed
2. Weigh Solute : tare tray on the scale and add solute to proper weight
3. Use funnel to transfer all solute to glassware used for the experiment
4. Add about half of the solvent needed to attain the correct volume for given solution
5. Stir to dissolve the solute entirely
6. Carefully add the remaining amount of solvent necessary to attain the volume of solution
