what are parasympathomimetics?
drugs that mimics the parasympathetic NS
what does bethanechol do? why do you not give IV? adverse reactions?
- stimulates muscularinic receptors to increase urine output
- too much will cause overdose
- orthostatic hypotension and bradycardia
what do in-direct cholinergic drugs do?
inhibit enzyme cholinesterase
