A

Type 3 familial dyslipidaemia - dysbetalipoproteinaemia which usually shows cholesterol and TG elevation and causes atherosclerosis

A

Eruptive - high TG, tendinous - high cholesterol

Indications of CRTD

A
  1. Sinus rhythm
  2. Heart failure despite optimal medical treatment for at least 3 months (lvef<35%)
  3. QRS > 150ms, can consider in >120ms
  4. LBBB morphology
  5. NYHA class 3 or 4

Indications for ICD

A

For ischaemic cardiomyopathy
1. LVEF < 30% with NYHA 1 or LVEF <35% with NYHA 2 or 3
2. >40 days post MI
3. >90 days post revascularisation

Or

Stable VT
Cardiac arrest secondary to VT or VF
Unexplained syncope with inducible VT
