What is democracy?
A form of government where the power is vested in the people
What is an oligarchy?
A form of government where power rests in a small elite segment of society. Often controlled by powerful families

A type of system where only one party forms the government and no other parties are permitted to run candidates for election

A form of government in which political power resides with the military leadership

What is postmodernism?
A type of thinking that rejects modernism and liberalism by allowing people to question
What does postmodernism believe that modernism does?
Modernism construct narratives rather than the processes for discovering truths
What is extremism?
A belief system that is outside the mainstream spectrum of beliefs
How does liberalism affect consumerism?
It creates more choices from consumers
