Posterior circumflex humeral artery

Anterior terminal branch
Posterior terminal branch
What does the posterior terminal branch continue as?
The upper lateral cutaneous nerve of arm
What are the motor functions of the axillary nerve?
Anterior terminal branch supplies deltoid
Posterior terminal branch supplies teres minor
What are the sensory functions of the axillary nerve?
Posterior terminal branch continues as upper lateral cutaneous nerve of arm
Supplies upper arm, anteriorly and posteriorly
