Battling ropes/Rowing machine - 1 minute - 15 seconds, 30 seconds rest X 2

Right so we are just going to do a quick warm up. Have you ever been on a rowing machine?

IF NO, DEMONSTRATE BY SITTING ON THE ROWING MACHINE AND STRAPPING YOUR FEET IN.

Ok if you could just start slowly pulling your arms in to your chest at the same time as straightening your legs.

A

CHAT TO TRIALIST AS THEY ROW - DO NOT LET THEM GO TOO FAST

Point to the 500metre split display and say

“This is your 500metre split time, it is how long it would take you at your current pace to row 500metres. So right now it would take you INSERT 500M SPLIT TIME to row 500 metres.”

Increase clients pace so they are slightly out of breath
