• Inflamation
• New chest pain/discomfort suggestive of ACS.
• Angina, acute MI

• Known Sensitivity
• GI bleeding
• Active ulcer disease
• Hemorrhagic stroke
• Bleeding disorders
• Children with chickenpox or flu-like syptoms

• Myocardial Infarction/ACS
  
  • Adult: 160-325 mg PO ( alternatively, four 81 mg baby ASA are often given)
  • Pediatric: 3-5 mg/kg/day to 5-10 mg/kg/day given as a single dose
• Pain or Fever
  
  • Adult: 325-650 mg PO (1-2 adult tablets) every 4-6 hours
  • Pediatric: 60-90 mg/kg/day in divided doses every 4-6 hours
