When shall every in-service and reserve apparatus receive an operational and readiness inspection?

A

In-service is the beginneing of every 48 hour set. Reserve apparatus are minimum weekly (depends of Station Captain). Use the Districts electronic vehicle tracking platform.

What happens if an emergency response unit is determined to be unsafe or unusable?

A

Take it out of service, contact Fleet Services Division directly to determine if it can be repaired in place or if a reserve is needed. Log alert in PSTrax.
