AP 2301 Cold Weather Operations

What if the temperature is below 32 degrees?

Answer 1

Fire apparatus shall not leave the station for non-emergency functions for more than 1 hour other than for training.

Question 2

What if the temperature is between 10 and 32 degrees?

Answer 2

Apparatus may travel between facilities for training purposes and should remain in heated indoor area for the duration of the training.

Question 3

What if the temperature is less than 10 degrees?

Answer 3

Apparatus shall not leave the fire station for any purpose other than emergency/incident responses, unless appointed by the shift commander.
