When do we use hearing protection?
A
When operating or riding on fire apparatus or an other situation when noise is in excess of 90 dBA.

How do we use the heat index while training?
A
Add 10 degress to heat index if using full PPE or for training in direct sunlight. No outside training of heat index is a category 3 or higher. If category 2, use formal rehab or modify training.

Lightning safety and Rules.
A
Absent within a 5 miles radius for 30 minutes. or not hearing the thunder for 30 seconds after a lighting flash.
