infections caused by susceptible bacteria in the upper and lower respiratory tract, gastrointestinal tract, urinary tract, skin and other tissues

- patients with hypersensitivity
- severe renal or hepatic dysfunction
- pregnancy or lactation
- children less than 8 years of age
