What are cephalosporins indicated for?
infections caused by susceptible bacteria in the upper respiratory tract (ie. otitis media), skin, urinary tract and other tissues
What are cephalosporins contraindicated in?
- patients with hypersensitivity to cephalosporins
- use with caution in patients with allergies to penicillins
