Ankle joint Flashcards
dorsiflexion
ant. Compartment of leg tibialis anterior, extensor hallucis longus, extensor digitorum longus, innervated by deep femoral/peroneal nerve
plantarflexion
Superficial group of posterior compartment of leg, soleus, gastrocnemius, plantaris - tibial nerve
inversion
tibialis anterior, extensor hallucis longus - deep femoral nerve,
tibias posterior - tibial nerve
eversion
fibularis longus, fibula’s brevis - superficial fibular nerve,
fibularis tertius - deep fibular nerve
innervation
Deep fibular (peroneal), tibial and sural nerv
blood supply
Anterior tibial, posterior tibial and fibular arteries
components of deltoid ligament
