Corticosteroids (125 mg methyl prednisolone)

Fluids (500 cc saline) 
Glucacon if on B blockers 
H2 blocker (ranitidine 150 mg)
Inhaled salbutamol

A

Observe for 4-8 hours because 23% will have rebound reactions
Steroids do not prevent this

Four types of allergy

A

Type 1 IGE-Acute onset anaphyaxis symptoms
Type 2 cytotoxic-hours to weeks of blood work changes (anemai)
Type 3 immune complex-1-3 weeks fever, rash, vasculitis, arthritis
Type 4 T cells 2-14 days-Stevens johnson, maculopapular rash
