AIR HORN EVACUATION SIGNAL
Upon activation of the Air Horn Danger Signal, all personnel involved at the incident must do the following three things:
- Cease operations immediately
- Evacuate the area
- Return to their vehicles if the vehicle is not endangered by the situation (if endangered, report to the next closest)
* All Call back personnel involved in the incident must cease operations immediately, evacuate the area and report to the Command Post

Imminent danger of injury or death situations requiring the Air Horn Evacuation Signal may include: (5)
- Structural collapse
- Rapid fire spread
- Severe wind change
- Back draft or flashover condition
- Change in strategy from offensive to defensive

Step 1 - Air horn activation
Step 2 - Initiate the use of the emergency alert tones (3) and radio emergency button use. Emergency traffic announcement may be made before air horn evacuation signal. *message is repeated twice
Step 3 - repeat step 1 until evacuation is complete or ordered to stop by IC
