Blood doping increases 02 carrying capacity and amount of 02 diffuses into myoglobin and mitochondria for aerobic glycolysis.

Long distance runnner would benefit from IHT because it uses type 1 fibres. IHT increases myoglobin and mitochondrial stores within type 1 fibres so they are more effective at using 02. Aerobic properties of type 2a fibres will improve.

A tennis player would benefit from cooling aids before after and during a tennis match because
Before! Ice vest will reduce core temp and thermal strain due to environment
During: ice towel will remove heat from body and reduce sweat (which increases blood viscosity and CV drift)
After: ice bath will vasoconstrict blood vessels, forcing oxygenated blood to flow and removes lactic acid faster.
