What is the axilla?
The armpit
What does the axilla contain?
The neurovascular bundle and lymph nodes
What does the subclavian artery turn into in the axilla?
The axillary artery
What is a defining feature of the radius and what side does it run on?
Has a rounded head and runs lateral to the body on the forearm.
What is a defining feature of the ulna and what side does it run on?
Has a bigger head to the radius and runs medial to the body on the forearm.
What muscles are in the anterior compartment?
Biceps, coracobrachialis and the brachialis
What movement do the muscles in the anterior compartment control?
Flexion
What muslces are in the posterior compartment?
The Triceps
What movement do the muscles in the posterior compartment control?
Extention
What innervates the anterior compartment?
the musculocutaneous nerve
What innervates the posterior compartment?
The radial nerve
What does the subclavian nerve become after becoming the axillary nerve?
The brachial artery
What is the triangle portion in the bend of the forearm called?
The cubital fossa

Pronator teres
