***Power Application

A
  1. Bus tie switches - AUTO
  2. Select PWR source
    • If external power is desired:
      1. External power AVAIL light - Illuminated
      2. External power switch - Push
    • If APUpower is desired:
      1. APU generator switch - ON
      2. APU selector - START, then ON
      • ** PACK control selectors OFF, verify that the APU BLEED AIR duct pressure is sufficient for engine start (approximately 20-30 psi).
  3. CRM PWR switch
    • CRM Power, If CRM is installed:
      1. CRM PWR switch - ON
    • If CRM is not installed:
      1. CRM PWR switch - Off
  4. Captain and First Officer’s ND - Check (WX Radar)

A
  1. IRS mode selectors - OFF, then NAV
  2. STATUS display - Checked
    1. O2 Qty - 1500 min Non-ETOPS (1800 ETOPS w/6 PAX)
    2. HYD Qty (NO - RF/OF)
    3. Oil Qty (< 16, MX unless it was serviced on layover)
    4. Messages (only expected messages showing)
  3. EFB power switches - On
  4. MAIN DECK TEMPERATURE selector - ANIMAL/NORM or PERISHABLE
  5. BULK CARGO HEAT selector - NORM or VENT
  6. FLIGHT RECORDER switch - NORM
  7. SERVICE INTERPHONE - OFF
  8. RESERVE BRAKES and STEERING RESET/DISABLE switch - Guard closed and ISLN light is extinguished
  9. Circuit breakers - Check
  10. Cockpit equipment - Check
    1. 2 Ropes
    2. 3 Vest
    3. JS O2
    4. Pubs - Checklist / QRC / QRH
    5. 2 EVAS (red label on cover strap)
  11. Parking brake - Set (above amber accumulator band)
  12. ACARS - Initialize
