Q

What did Darwin’s theory state 3

A

That all organisms in a species vary, and therefore some are more likely to survive. Those that are best adapted bread and pass on their characteristics. Change happens in very small steps over a long period of time

Q

Why did people find it hard to accept Darwins theory of natural selection 2

A

The theory challenged the idea that God made all life on earth

Many scientists did not accept the theory as Darwin could not explain why ther was variety in organism or how inheritance worked - it was 50 year later when genes were discovered.
