A
Some individuals may have a higher status than others, which they have achieved or attained due to their connections, and some people may have a lower status which can impact them in society

A
There is achieved status and ascribed status. For example, if someone is born into a wealthy family then they will have ascribed status, but if someone is self-made then they will have gained achieved status.
