Accurate perception of reality broken by people who suffer paranoia as they believe irrational thoughts
Strengths of Deviation from Ideal Mental Health
Allows particular areas to be targeted, making it easier to treat mental health, more efficient so positive impact on economy
Limitations of Deviation from Ideal Mental Health
Sets unrealistically high standards for mental health so few people meet the criteria e.g everyone experiences stress but it doesn’t make us mentally unstable so is inaccurate
