+Workforce is more efficient
-May need significant investment

Definition of dismissal
The termination of employment normally due to misconduct and will be let go immediately

When the job is no longer available and the business wants to reduce its size but employees will get severance
What is the Individual Approach
-Assumes each employee is unique and has their own goals, talents and motivation
-Each individual will seek for their own compensation
What is Collective Bargaining
-Where employees negotiate for better working conditions together (normally through a union)
-This gives more bargaining power to employees but can lead to power struggle
