What is computer hardware?
Computer hardware refers to the physical parts of a computer and related devices. Internal hardware is known as components, and external hardware is known as peripherals.
What is a computer peripheral?

What is a network?
A network consists of multiple devices that communicate with each other via a transmission medium. It can range from two computers to billions of devices and includes various electronic devices.
What are the main categories of networks?
The main categories of networks are LAN (Local Area Network) and WAN (Wide Area Network).
What is a LAN?
A LAN (Local Area Network) covers a small geographical area and usually has internal hardware owned by the organisation.
What is a WAN?
A WAN (Wide Area Network) covers a large geographical area and typically has external hardware owned by third parties.
What is software?
Software refers to computer programs or sets of instructions. It includes terms such as software programs, applications, scripts, and instruction sets, and consists of code written by programmers.
How is software different from hardware?
Software is virtual and consists of lines of code compiled into programs, whereas hardware is the physical parts of a computer.
What are human resources (HR) in the context of computing?
Human resources refer to the people who work for a company or organisation and the department managing employee-related resources. In computing, they are often the end users of the system.
