  • Heart Yang Xu: chest painful obstruction.
  • Disperses and warms cold: particularly cold stagnating the LJ presenting as amenorrhoea, dysmenorrhoea, cold-damp bi, sores or abscesses that will not heal, diarrhoea, feeling of cold.
  • Leads Fire back to its source, used for upward floating of deficient Yang. Presenting as flushed face, wheezing, severe sweating, weak and cold lower extremities, deficient & rootless pulse. Heat above / cold below.
