- Light and mildy spicy foods
- foods cooked by stir fry, poaching, steaming
- fibre through more vegetables, less carbs and meat
- keeping sugar and fruit away from main meals
- Avoiding dairy with meat
- Avoiding too many protein rich foods with easily digestible ones.
What foods are beneficial for Qi stagnation?
Vegetables: shallot, leak, chives, garlic, eggplant, seaweed, fungi, onion and mustard greens

- Invigorates Blood and promotes Qi movement: any blood stasis pattern which as dysmenorrhoea, amenorrhoea, difficult labour, retained lochia or stagnation of Qi and Blood. Pain and soreness of chest.
- Expels wind and alleviates pain: externally contracted Wind, headache, dizziness, skin conditions, painful obstruction.
