What are the contraindications of Si Jun Zi Tang?
Early stage of acute illness (cold and flu), high fever, heat from xu
Combination of irritability, thirst and constipation.
What are the cautions of Si Jun Zi Tang?
Overuse of this formula may result in: dry mouth, thirst and irritability.
Not suitable for excessive phlegm/dampness and Spleen Yang Xu.
What is the recommended dosage of Si Jun Zi Tang?
8-12 pills, two to three times a day. Away from food where possible.

Treat deficiency of Lung due to Spleen Qi Xu. Building the Earth to produce Metal. Chronic diarrhoea, weakness of limbs, poor appetite, weight loss, pale and sallow complexion with little lustre, low and soft voice and SOB, chronic coughing etc.
What is the dosage of Shen Ling Bai Zhu Tang?
8-12 pills, two to three times a day. Away from food where possible.
What are the cautions of Shen Ling Bai Zhu Tang?
Caution: heat with yin xu, early stage acute illness (cold/flu). Avoid all raw foods and dairy products.

What is the function of Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang?
This prescription is for removing heat by sweet flavour and warm nature. Typical prescription to treat fever due to Qi-Xu. To treat Spleen-Qi sinking syndrome.
Reinforce the middle jiao, replenish Qi, ascend Yang and treat Qi sinking.
What are the indications of Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang?
Spleen and stomach Qi xu: Spleen-qi sinking, fever due to middle Qi xu.
Signs and symptoms: lack of physical and mental stamina, lack of vitality, weak muscles and connective tissue, impaired cloudy vision, poor appetite, intermittent fever, rectal or uterine prolapse, irregular uterine bleeding, pale tongue, thin white coating, weak pulse.
What are the contraindications of Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang?
Fever due to heat from Yin Xu. Not appropriate for treatment of a flushed face, bitter taste, dizziness, dry mouth and throat caused by flaming up for deficiency fire and nausea, vomiting, and stomach distention caused by ascending counterflow Qi movement.
What are the cautions for Bu Zhong Yi Qi Tang?
Caution: only for Qi Xu induced prolapse

- Early acute illness such as colds and flu (wind cold or wind heat)
- Internal heat patterns (fever, profuse sweating due to heat and Yin Xu.
