- Nourishes Heart Yin, augments Liver Blood and quiets the spirit. Used for Heart Yin presenting as insomnia, palpitations, anxiety, sweating due to xu.
- Can be used for Liver Blood Xu presenting as irritability, insomnia, restlessness, dream-disturbed sleep.
- Prevents abnormal sweating presenting as spontaneous sweating and night sweats.
