Amox 5 days
Curb65 management: 2
Hospital, 7-10 days oral/IV amox + macrolide (eg. Clarithomycin)
Curb65: score of 3 management pneumonia
Hospital/itu, 7-10days IV co amox/ceft/taz + macrolide
Respiratory tract infections: principles of management
Avoid abx unless centor criteria met
If giving abx avoid amoxicillin as can cause the patient to break out in a rash
