Captive Portal
A
Commonly seen on wireless networks. Access table recognizes a lack of authentication, then redirects you web access to a captive portal page so you can authenticate. Once authenticated, the web session continues until the access times out.

Using WPS
A
Wi-Fi Protected Setup, previously known as Wi-Fi Simple Config. This was meant to be an easy way to a wireless network. WPS had significant inherent design flaws. It was too easy to brute force access. Disable WPS entirely as a best practice.
