Cold Site
A
No hardware, just empty building. You will need to bring everything.

Warm Site
A
One step up, just enough to get going. You will be provided with a bit, but you’ll either need to bring hardware, software, OS, or some combination of things.

Hot Site
A
This will be an exact duplicate of your production system. This is sometimes integrated into normal purchasing processes. It’s common to have all the data in the hot site duplicated. The idea is to be able to flip a switch, and have everything up and running at the recovery site.
