Data Roles
High-level data relationships. Data has a relationship between itself and the people who need access to it. The relationship is usually created based on the level of responsibility for the person in the org.
Data Steward

Data Retention
Orgs have their own policies on how much data is retained and how often. Many orgs keep certain types of data around. It’s common to keep data for a week, or longer. If data becomes damaged, you may need up to 30 days worth of backup data. There are legal requirements for data retention that you may need to adhere to anyway. Some industries must legally store certain types of data. Email storage may be required over years. Different types of data have different storage requirements.
