In my opinion I guess I would have to say that there are a number of factors/reasons involved. The main basis is probably because +knowing a foreign language help you meet new and interesting people and developing life-long friendships. + At the same time, a subsequent factor could be because + Learning a new language help you discover a new culture as well as improve your travel experience.
