Why are supermarkets so popular nowadays?

In my opinion I guess I would have to say that there are a number of factors/reasons involved. The main basis is probably because + People prefer to buy everything at one place and supermarkets are perfect for that since they have everything you need. + At the same time, a subsequent factor could be because + most supermarkets are big buildings which have heating and cooling systems to keep the customers happy and products fresh.
