I think it’s fair to say that there are few Drawback/negative aspects. But I guess the most adverse feature would be + The increased exposure to natural risk. You might frequently be affected by storms, tsunamis, etc. + And an additional weak point may be that + General maintenance on a waterfront property can also be more costly. The high humidity near the sea can effectively damage your house.
