usually conservative
sometimes balloon vertebroplasty in patients with chronic pain

what is balloon vertebroplasty?
A
inserting a balloon into the vertebral body under fluoroscopic guidance
balloon is then inflated to lift the corticies of the vertebral body and injecting cement to fill the void
