The same precursor hormone is split into ACTH and melanocyte stimulating hormone.
Secondary Addison’s = no ACTH or melanocyte stimulating hormone produced. So ghostly white skin
Primary Addison’s= ACTH and melanocyte stimulating hormone are still produced. Get hyperpigmentation instead
