A

Cranial Vault:

Upper portion

Cranial Base: inferior portion, that connects to spine

Cranial cavity: interior of the skull

Facial Skeleton: bones of the face

Acoustic skeleton: ear ossicles.

Regional anatomy: orbit, nasal cavity, oral cavity

Where is the hyoid bone located?

A

Consists of lesser horn of hyoid bone and greater horn of hyoid bone.

Lies superior to the thyroid cartridge, it is a floating bone. Important attachment for muscles of the neck and floor of the mouth
