Q

describe process of viruses infecting someone

A

Wall made of protein where inside coiled up strand of nucleic acid
Can only reproduce inside cells of living organsm
One way they reproduce is by attaching itself to the surface of the cell
Then injects its strand of nucleic acid into the inside
Acid then multiplies into lots of separate strands
Round each strand a new virus is formed
Materials for making new viruses come from inside cell
Eventually cell bursts open killing it in the process and new viruses are set free
