Within each center there are branches and then teams.

vets at CDC are : health scien, epidemiologists, public health analysts, lab animal vets, etc.

Rarely deathly. If properly treated case fatality is less than 1%
People become contamianted when people breathe infected dust
Psittacine are thoguht ot be main source fo exposure in US but non psittacines can also transmit including ducks, chickens, and turkeys
Import in sale of psittacine birds and poultry slaighter plants of turkeys represent the two major peaks in hisotry; 2018 rare because chickens, not turkeys
Sampled slaughtr house and found chlamy g, not psitacci, despite signs being most in line with psitaccosis
Masks reduced contraction by 0.5x
People wore masks depending on where they were in the factory
