Opposite the second upper molar tooth
What nerve supplies most of the mucous membrane?
The buccal branch of the mandibular nerve
What glands other than the parotid duct open in to the oral vestibule?
There are 4-5 small mucous glands on the outer surface of buccinator and these pierce the muscle to reach the mucous membrane of the vestibule (plus multiple others)

What contributes to the hard palate?
The hard palate is made up of the palatal processes of the maxilla and the horizontal plate of the palatine bone.
What lies between the palatine bone and maxilla?
The greater palatine foramen
What lines the hard palate? How is this attached to the bone?
Mucous membrane is strongly adherent to the periosteum which together can be stripped from the bone.
What is the blood supply to the hard palate? How does it reach the hard palate?
the greater palatine artery, via the greater palatine foramen
What is the lymphatic drainage of the hard palate?
Retropharyngeal and deep cervical nodes
