Function-
To regulate the volume and composition of fluids in the body and remove waste products.

- Extracts waste from the blood, balance body fluids, and forms urine.
Located-
–Against the muscles of the back and are inferior to the diaphragm and protected by the lower ribs.

Ureters

- Two narrow tubes running from the kidney down to and through the lower part of the urinary bladder.
Function -
–Transport urine from the kidneys to the urinary bladder for eventual elimination.

- A hallow muscular organ that is located in the pelvic cavity posteriorly to the public symphysis and acts as a reservoir storing urine until it is expelled.

- Tube that extends form the bladder to the outside of the body and the means by which urine is elimated.
