Male Reproductive System
Primary reproductive organ. They lie outside the body in the scrotum and produce testosterone and sperm.

- Consists of loose skin that resembles a pouch.
- Holds and protects the testes.

- Made up of tightly coiled tube located inside the scrotum along the posterior border of the testes.
- Site where sperm cells mature.

- Located under the urinary bladder and is donut-shaped. It secreted alkaline fluid that makes up semen and plays a role in activating sperm cells to swim.

Bulbourethral Glands or Cowper’s Glands
A

- Peanut sized organ located beneath the prostate on either side of the urethra.
- Secrete mucus to lubricate the urethra and the penis during sexual arousal.

- Located posteriorly to the urinary bladder
- Serves as a common passage way for both spermatozoa and urine.

- Attached to the connective tissue at the back of the urinary bladder.
- They are twisted, muscular tubes with outpouching in which their linings produce secretions that act as nourishment fro sperm.

- consists of a shaft and the glans.
