Wart like growth in the ducts. Benign and causes nipple discharge.
What are the risk factors of kidney stones?
Dehydration, diet, drugs, renal cell abnormalities UTI and metabolic acidosis.
What are the symptoms of renal cell carcinoma?
Haematuria
Loin pain
Abdominal mass
Paraneoplastic syndromes- polycythaemia, hypocalcaemia and hypertension

Leiomyloma.
What causes gout?
Drugs- aspirin and diuretics. Alcohol Renal disease Hypothyroidism Dehydration
What are the features of osteoarthritis?
Morning stiffness Pain- worse with movement. Reduced range of movement. Joint effusions Crepitus H and B nodes
How would you test for ectopic pregnancy
Raised HCG beta blood levels.
What are cyst adenomas?
Large fluid filled cysts, benign, pressure effects.
What are fibroids?
Benign tumours that arrises from the myometrium.
Explain antibiotic associated colitis.
C. diff infection that is caused after the use of antibiotics.
What causes hypopituitarism?
Non-funcitoning adenomas.

What are the features of infective endocarditis?
Infection occurs at the edge of the heart valve.
Occurs on R side for IV drug use.
L side for other reasons.
Caused by streptococci and staph a.
What are the causes of pericarditis and myocarditis?
Viral, bacterial, parastitic, TB, uremia, drugs
What causes hypertrophic cardiomyopathy.
Storage disease
