what is procedural memory
A
- part of LTM that’s responsible for knowing how to do things i.e memory of motor skills , such as riding a bike
- non declarative as do not involve conscious recall
- the area responsible is the cerebellum and motor cortex

A
- part of LTM responsible for storing knowledge about the world. i.e knowledge about the meaning of words, such as “love” , as well as general knowledge like facts . i.e London is the capital of England
